The SpeedTrac X sports radar
utilizes X-Band DRO Doppler Shift radar technology to clock speeds. The
internally located antenna, when activated, sends out a radio frequency (RF)
signal at a specific frequency. The signal projects from the unit like a
flashlight beam, decreasing in strength with distance. If a moving object,
like a puck or ball, enters the device’s transmitted signal, the frequency of
the reflected signal of the ball is changed or shifted This frequency change
is proportional to the object’s speed, and the SpeedTrac X sports radar’s
internal circuits instantly process the return signal to display speed in
your choice of either MPH or Km/H.
The SpeedTrac X sports radar’s projected signal is able to pass, unaffected
through certain materials, such as netting, wire mesh fencing, tarps or
backdrops, and Plexiglas. This allows you to put a protective barrier
between the moving target object and your SpeedTrac X sports radar, without
affecting speed measuring performance (a recommended precautionary
procedure.)
Measures the speed of your
throw, shot or pass
Radar clocks speeds up to
150 mph or 199 km/h
Utilizes the following
technology to measure speed accurately:
Most preferred x-band
Doppler Dielectric Resonator Module utilizing a state-of-art FET (field
effect transistor)
Newly engineered 2-layer
PCB board, exceedingly superior quality board components
Easy to read 2 1/2"
digital LED display
Built-in carrying handle
and stand
Integrated tripod mount
(mounts on standard camera tripod)
Great training tool
Allows you to monitor your
improvement
Simple to use
Radar needs to be placed
12'-15' from the object being tracked
Thick polycarbonate
housing to aid against damage
Easy to transport
